Power of One?

I have always been intrigued by this number.

One.

so little. yet so much more.

There's a movie about it.

Many people have showed us the power of one. One person willing to make a difference, often ridiculed, hated, oppressed but made the difference nevertheless. To paraphrase Apple's classic ad, "the people who think that they are crazy enough to change the world are the ones that do".

This campaign called the One Second Film uses the power of one, and this site for Katrina relief too. Be it in giving nickels, dollars or just being there, the power of one is a force to reckon with. For the true force of the 'power of one' isn't in numbers, it's in the unity of thought....that some say may even move mountains.

Can u change the world around you? You have the Power of One on your side.

Apple does it again. And this time they have brought video on the ipod. Just think of the possibilites. Now anybody can become a Star!

The best part i love abt this site is the cloud feature that give you all your tagged pages at one glance with the ones with the most keywords on a bigger size. Looks really cool. You can see how mine looks here.

So I am finally getting to be what i was dreading.....tired of blogging. Sure the sun still shines bright and night comes after day, a zillion things are being invented and the no of bloggers are almost doubling every 6-7 months. So there would not be a vaccum in my absence.

Please do not get me wrong, I am not writing a eulogy yet to my blog life.....just that i was mulling over the possibility of a sabbatical.....till I am hit by the blogging bug again.

There has always been a steady stream of support in the form of comments / hate mail /spam, that i receive on account of this blog but your appreciation has kept me going.....especially this person who calls himself/herself "Anonymous" has been regularly commenting on this blog...Thanks dude for all the support.

Meanwhile came across this really cool wap site that some great stuff for download. It even has a cool little tool to browse wap sites.

Just got my bluetooth fixed...so you can understand the WAP fixation.

BTW Del.icio.us is still the coolest social bookmarking site and here's mine.

And finally I start my thesis today.

I do see the thunderstorms approaching....its gonna be a long day today. I wsa thinking of keeping a blog to actually show my thesis progress, but the problem of posting it on this blog will have unforseen consequences....so well that may an idea for another blog...another day.

Sheila Johnson, the ex-wife of BET founder Robert Johnson, tied the knot with Judge William Newman at her Salamander Farm in Middleburg, Va., on Saturday. Newman met Johnson when he presided over her 2002 divorce case against Robert, her husband of 33 years. Newman's decision evenly split the $3 billion Johnson netted after Viacom bought BET.

After the long hiatus, the blogosphere has the opportunity to once again revel in my rants and raves.

Before i start my blogging odyssey, here's something wonderful i came across. They call it slawesome and i think its awesome

Slawesome is voice for your email. It basically allows you to send voice mail (whether that’s love mail, hate mail, music mail or street noise - I don’t know what I’m talking about - mail) to any email address in the world.

Its still in alpha stage so don't expect everything to work out smooth, but i do feel this is an idea with great potential.

i am so not flying Air Asia.

was a bit late for my flight( well maybe a lot), i had to catch a flight 6 hrs later on a full fare of 468 RM....

Anyways KL was fun....great food, great people and of course the twin towers.

back in action!!!!

i got up at 5.30 a.m for my flight that leaves KL at 1.30 p.m.

Don't get me wrong. i haven't become more consistent or time better prepared.

My Air asia flight was supposed to leave at 8.25 a.m. I reached the check in counter just in time ( or maybe a bit late) be
